Refund and Cancellation Policy

At StartWell, operated by StartWell Health and Wellbeing Private Limited, we aim to provide flexibility to parents while maintaining operational efficiency and food quality. This policy outlines our cancellation, refund, and credit terms.


1. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Timelines:

  • Before 12 midnight (previous day): 100% refund
  • Before 8:00 AM on delivery day (Long Break meals only): 50% refund
  • After 8:00 AM: No cancellation or refund

2. Refund Mode (Wallet-First)

  • All refunds are credited to the StartWell Wallet by default
  • Wallet balance can be used to book meals anytime in the future

Original Payment Method Refunds:
Can be requested by the customer and are processed within 7–10 business days after approval.


3. Subscription Cancellation

  • Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime via the app/website
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be calculated based on unused meals
  • Any discounts or offers availed will be proportionately adjusted

4. Skipping / Pausing Deliveries

  • Meals can be paused/skipped via the app/website
  • Cutoff: Before 12 midnight prior to delivery day
  • Credits: Skipped meals are credited back to your plan/wallet

5. Same-Day Orders

Same-day orders (placed before approximately 8:00 AM with an express fee) are:

  • Non-cancellable
  • Non-refundable

6. Missed Deliveries (No Refund)

Deliveries are completed once handed over at the school drop-off point.

No refunds/credits in cases where:

  • Child does not collect the meal
  • Incorrect student details are provided
  • Issues occur within school distribution

7. Cancellations by StartWell

In rare cases (operational issues, closures, etc.), the meal will be fully credited to wallet or refunded.


8. Important Notes

  • Express / same-day fees are non-refundable
  • All cancellations must be done via the app/website
